The Eye2Spy Collective
The Eye2Spy collective is a collaborative third body; an artist in it's own right. Currently based in Bristol UK, Eye2Spy participate in guerrilla art activities, perform live and exhibit internationally.The artworks of Eye2Spy are predominantly of social commentary and have been described as having a 'satirical approach'. The collectives existence has evolved from a weekly photographic project called I Spy; at a set time twice a week, each artist would without discussion, photograph their immediate environment and upload to a blog for them to study. From this project they learnt about the subconscious thought processes of the other, enabling the artists to silently communicate and to perform by the improvised methods that the Eye2Spy Collective are now known for.
Eye2Spy are currently working on a new project combining their current life situation with ritualistic movement and expression.
