Eye 2 Spy Presents - Art in Motion

Image: CHIPS, Eye2Spy Collective, Lucerne, 2011

Eye 2 Spy collective are a small group of artists who have set up an event for a variety of film and performance artists to screen their artwork, as part of the Montpelier Art Trail.

The Artists showing are Jack Addis, Layne Arlina, Ruzhin Babaei, Natalia Komis, Dan Petley, Siobhan Mckeown and of course films from the Eye 2 Spy Collective. I won't need to give much away about these artists, only to mention that the artists have strong connections with Berlin, The Invisible Circus, and Zurich. Art need fulfilled in one show in Bristol!

Eye 2 Spy have previously screened their film 'The Typicalities of Hysteria' at the BFN's 'Where are the women? Here they are!' event earlier this year. They were also the organisers of the Occupation at BSAD, staging nude drawing workshops and performing live each day, with notions of restriction as their narrative. Eye 2 Spy have also worked with The Easton Cowboys, raising funds for the Zapatistas in Mexico. The collectives latest exhibition was a live performance in Switzerland but are performing unadvertised guerrilla art across the UK on a regular basis.

The event is FREE, poetry before hand and live music to follo.

8th May, Sunday 6pm!
The Arts House,
Stokes Croft,
Bristol
